VibeLich is a fresh and young label from the heart of Berlin founded in 2009 by the fashion creator Eliza Schwarz. Eliza was born and raised in Schanze, the creative district of Hamburg.
She discovered her passion for fashion early, pre- senting her first fashion show at the ripe old age of 16. She loves working with female artists from the music scene under the VibeLich label, such as Ladi6 and Miss Platnum.
What has been your inspiration for the EASTPAK Artist Studio Bag(s)?
One part of me is African and another important thing is my childhood in the 80ies. I tried to let this slip in my design. I think both are things that have a lot to do with the topic.
So you have the African colors red, green, yellow in neon shades and the different composed materials.
Which city do you live in – can you tell us what it’s best kept secret is?
I live in Berlin. The less totebags you see in an area the more you see the original Berlin. I like the rooftop of Karstadt at Hermannplatz. You have a beautiful view from there and share this place with the long-established grandmas and grandpas from Neukölln.
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
Couple of weeks ago but I won’t tell ;-)
Can you name three major things on your ‘bucketlist’ – three things you want to do before you ‘kick the bucket’…
I want my own swimming pool in a warm country. Find Freedom and real love.
