What has been your inspiration for the EASTPAK Artist Studio Bag(s)?
I choose to call my project “Digital Creation – Real Result”.
First of all the backpacks were digitally painted using a Wacom Cintiq interactive monitor and afterwards have been reproduced on the fabric. The subject chosen were different from each other but in color pandan and my visual style has been influenced by: Los Angeles Cholo Tattoo, Kabuki, Retna, Mike Giant and many others.
Which city do you live in – can you tell us what it’s best kept secret is?
I live in Milan and I have an intimate and nocturnal relationship with his streets. I found many awesome secret places, but today I want to give you a tip: with a pen and a bit of manual ability you can get free access in a lot of the most expensive clubs of the city…
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
Yesterday morning! I washed my car! It was really dirty
Can you name three major things on your ‘bucketlist’ – three things you want to do before you ‘kick the bucket’…
To learn windmill (break dance power move)
To find the formula to skip the Italian winter
To bring 300 people on rubber dinghies along the canal of Milan with the “Radical Water” project, everybody relaxed with the sponsorship of nutrias!
The proceeds from the sales of your bag will go entirely to Designers Against AIDS – What are your views on safe sex? Do you personally think it’s still important?
I think everybody should try to do a lot of safe sex, because it is safe sex.
I do not know how the AIDS situation in the World is, I do not know how the researches are progressing, but I know that it is a bad disease so I am more than pleased if I can help with my work.
