21 The Fashion Market

From carrying around her favorite  EASTPAK as the symbol of her teenage years, to establishing 21 The Fashion Market in a cozy boutique, Eva Nikolaidou life has always orbited around style.  After her studies in Mass Media & Marketing Communications, Eva started off her career as the Product Manager of the Greek VOGUE edition, to go off & undertake Pansik  fashion design course, in an effort to further explore her relationship to the industry. Her interest in fashion sparked her traveling all around, in search of unique items available to fashion seekers through 21 The Fashion Market. Her love for music & anything retro has always been an inspiration and has led to the creation of the old school EASTPAK headphones.

What has been your inspiration for the EASTPAK Artist Studio Bag(s)?
Music as well as my admiration and love for anything retro.

Which city do you live in – can you tell us what it’s best kept secret is?
The best kept secret in Athens is the culture. Ages of history and cultural prosperity have been neglected and are “hidden” in such a way that you can almost consider them a secret.

When was the last time you did something for the first time?
This week when I’ve tried to create some jewels. I am not quite sure about the result though.

Can you name three major things on your ‘bucketlist’ – three things you want to do before you ‘kick the bucket’…
To retain my mental health despite what is happening in Greece.
To get professional recognition
To create a loving family

The proceeds from the sales of your bag will go entirely to Designers Against AIDS – What are your views on safe sex? Do you personally think it’s still important?
There is nothing more precious than health and for that it should be taken seriously. There is nothing more needed than love and thus it is important. Having safe sex assures a healthy life and the ability to enjoy love without putting your own as well as other peoples’ lives in danger.
