The artist Alexandra Fernandez is based in Barcelona where she has worked for numerous local designers including Josep Font and Jose Castro and for the brand Desigual. A recent graduate in fashion design, the focus of her work is primarily on prints and illustrations. Alexandra loves travelling and discovering new places and cultures, which lead her to apply at Designers against AIDS; for her the perfect combination of further training in fashion and a good cause.
What has been your inspiration for the EASTPAK Artist Studio Bag(s)?
My inspiration was the teenagers, when you are teen your friends sing your bag with draws, their names....
Which city do you live in – can you tell us what it’s best kept secret is?
I live in Barcelona, the best kept secret is find the best places to go; there are a lot of cultural offer, a lot of funny things to do, the point is choose your favourite :)
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
Unfortunately I don't remember!
Can you name three major things on your ‘bucketlist’ – three things you want to do before you ‘kick the bucket’…

Like Designers Againts Aids, the best safe sex is the prevention....so..I focus my work on teenagers, the age that you think that all is pink and nothing bad could happen to you. Keep safe them!
