Bio

Carole Bielicki

Carole’s paintings reflect her attachment to nature, the animal world and wide open spaces and as such very often allude to ecology and the interaction between humans and nature. At the heart of this universe, the female figure evokes our essential link to the elements: both serious and mischievous, naive and manipulative. If Carole’s view of society is sometimes confused or sad, her colorful fantasies and ironic paintings more than made up for it.

Wildlife, nature, love...

I live in Bordeaux. The kept secret is the composition of the famous Bordeaux wine... for the best and the worth!

Cut a new bag !

Can you name three major things on your ‘bucketlist’ – three things you want to do before you ‘kick the bucket’…
Drinking Champagne in the Blue Lagoon, trecking in Patagonia, seeing northern Lights.

The proceeds from the sales of your bag will go entirely to Designers Against AIDS – What are your views on safe sex? Do you personally think it’s still important?
Safe sex should be a priority of the health education for youths (and the older). We can't ignore that Aids can concern everybody in our modern societies. Also, treatments must be accessible to everyone in every countries and continents, without the dictate of laboratories.
Unfortunately, medical research in general is not enough the priority of the governments.
