Born in Cartagena, Spain in 1977, Andrés Gallardo moved to Madrid at the age of 18 to study at the Centro Superior de Diseño de Moda. He has worked for Lola Mento, Don Algodón under Juan Duyos, at Bimba & Lola and as head of design at Raasta. Andrés’ particular passion is scouring antique shops and markets on the lookout for porcelain necklaces. He has since moved on to develop his own line of contemporary jewelry, launching the Andrés Gallardo brand together with Marina Casal.
